Known as the Rocky Mountain Event Center, our hotel offers 3,200 square feet of comfortable meeting space that can be broken into five various sizes, ranging from 576 square feet (the Ear Mountain Event Room) and up. With our location along the Rocky Mountain Front in Central Montana, the Stage Stop Inn is an ideal location for meetings, retreats, banquets, conferences and weddings.

If you’re looking for a place to host a small meeting, corporate retreat, association meeting, luncheon, birthday party or bridal shower near Choteau, Montana, our 1,450-square-foot Pool Party Room accommodates up to 50 guests, with easy access to our indoor heated pool and outdoor patio.
In addition, our main event space is flexible and can be set up into a variety of different arrangements to fit the needs of your group.
Annual Community Events
Choteau, Montana celebrates the Fourth of July in style with a rodeo, parade, pitchfork steak fry, dances, concerts and fireworks. Plan to come and spend a few days in one of the state’s most patriotic towns.
Wild Game Feed & Silent Auction
Experience Montana’s wild game at this annual event, the Old Trail Museum’s Wild Game Feed. Held annually in March, this event takes place at the Stage Stop Inn and includes a potluck (with many attendees serving dishes that feature wild game: elk, deer, etc.), as well as silent and live auctions. Proceeds help support the Old Trail Museum. Upcoming event: March 28, 2020.

Celebrate the annual spring migration of hundreds of thousands of snow geese and tundra swans as they migrate from their wintering areas to Canada for the summer.
