There is a free shuttle that runs from downtown Choteau, via all the motels and then up to the hill, it will run on the hour on the weekends and as demand requires week days, starting at 8 am until the bar closes. www.tetonpassresort.com  

After all, this is called Big Sky Country for a reason, so come and enjoy some of them!

Grizzly Marathon   So sorry to inform everyone that Choteau's Marathon will not be happening in 2012. Keep us in mind and check for future dates.  Pick your distance Marathon / Half / 10K / 5K / Kids' 5K.  Go to their website for dates and details.  Choteau Stage Stop Inn has the best accommodations for you, relax and loosen up in our great hot tub after the race. We do require a two night minimum for the weekend. 

     

You can see by the photo, it is ranch country surrounded by mountains.  The roads are gravel, rural ranch roads and have very little traffic.  The only sign of life are herds of cattle, antelope, and hopefully grizzly. For more information click on their web-site.

The Montana Dinosaur Trail Prehistoric PassportThe Prehistoric Passport is the newest "tool" visitors can use to unearth the primordial treasures of the Montana Dinosaur Trail. The passport describes the extraordinary dinosaur displays, exhibits and activities found at each of the trail's15 facilities in 12 Montana communities. Each passport includes Fun Fossil Facts, a section for field notes and space for the official "dino icon"; stamps that verify the passport owner has visited each trail facility.
